How PriceLens Works

PriceLens is an AI-powered price comparison app for iOS and Android. Scan a barcode, take a photo, or type a product name to instantly see its current price across different stores.

Anyone who wants to shop smarter. Compare prices on electronics, groceries, books, toys, and hundreds of other categories across thousands of products.

The app is active in Turkey, Germany, the UK, the US, France, Spain, Portugal, Russia, Italy, and dozens of other countries. Results are automatically tailored to your device's language and region settings.

Price data is gathered through our AI-powered search engine, which regularly indexes major e-commerce platforms and retail stores. Results are pulled from Google Shopping and similar services in near real-time.

Tap the scan button on the home screen and point your camera at the product's barcode. The app automatically detects it and lists prices from stores in your country within seconds.

Take a photo of the product or pick one from your gallery. The AI analyses the image, identifies the product, and lists the closest matches with their prices. Ideal for items without barcodes.

Type the product name, model, or brand in the search box. The app analyses your input in real time and shows the most relevant product matches sorted by price. The fastest and most direct method.

For barcode scanning, place the item on a flat surface in good lighting. For photo search, make sure the entire product is clearly visible. For text search, combining the brand name with the model number improves accuracy significantly.

After scanning, the app uses Google's Shopping engine and our own AI model to identify the product. Results are listed with store name, price, shipping info, and stock status.

Results are sorted by price from lowest to highest by default. You can re-sort by store name, shipping option, or rating. PRO users can view a 30-day price history chart to track whether prices are dropping.

Prices are updated every 2 to 24 hours depending on product popularity and number of stores. Free users can refresh prices once per day; PRO users can refresh at any time.

PRO users can set a target price for any product. When the price drops to the set value, an instant push notification is sent. Especially useful for products you want to buy but aren't ready to purchase yet.

The free plan includes 5 scans per day with access to all three scan methods (barcode, photo, and text). You can view your scan history and manage favourites. The free plan is sufficient for occasional price comparisons.

The PRO plan removes all scan limits and unlocks every advanced feature. Ideal for frequent shoppers and anyone who wants to track the best prices over time.
